Part 1: Highlands Solitude at Cairngorm Bothies

Your journey begins with two nights deep in the wild heart of Scotland, within the Cairngorms National Park. Cairngorm Bothies offers a sanctuary of contemporary design and rustic charm, allowing you to connect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

Terms & Conditions: 'Mountains to Sea' Package

1. General Booking & Agreement

1.1. Package: The “Mountains to Sea” package (the “Package”) is a fixed-price, non-transferable collaborative offering between Cairngorm Bothies (the “Mountain Host”) and Dalriada Lodges (the “Coastal Host”). The Package duration is strictly four (4) consecutive nights: two (2) nights at the Mountain Host and two (2) nights at the Coastal Host.

1.2. Pricing: The price for the Package is £495 (four hundred and ninety-five pounds) and covers accommodation only for up to 4 guests. This price is subject to change without notice for future bookings but is fixed upon confirmation of booking.

1.3. Single Booking Point: All bookings, payments, and cancellations for the Package can be processed through either party. The booking will be considered confirmed only upon full payment or deposit payment as specified in the booking confirmation.

1.4. Allocation: Specific bothy or lodge numbers within each location cannot be guaranteed and are subject to allocation by the respective Host. Cairngorm Bothies can offer the accommodation at Cairngorm Lodges should that be a guests preference – An extra supplement charge of £50 would apply.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Full Payment: Due to the limited availability of this soft launch package, full payment of £495 is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.2. Package Price Exclusions: The Package price excludes all supplementary costs, including: * Dog Fees (see Section 4). * Cairngorm Lodges (see Section 1.4).

2.3. Supplementary Payments: Any non-refundable dog fees, security deposits and supplements must be paid directly to the respective Host prior to check-in, as detailed in the booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

This joint cancellation policy supersedes the individual cancellation policies of both Cairngorm Bothies and Dalriada Lodges for this specific Package booking.

3.1. Cancellation by Guest: * More than 28 days prior to the first check-in date: Full refund of the Package price (£495). *less than 28 days prior to the first check-in date: 50% refund of the Package price. * Less than 14 days prior to the first check-in date: No refund (0%) of the Package price.

3.2. Amendment: Once confirmed, the dates for the Package cannot be amended. Any date change will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking (subject to 3.1) and a new booking.

3.3. Force Majeure: If either Host must cancel a stay due to events outside their control (e.g., severe weather, fire, pandemic restrictions), guests will be offered a full refund of the Package price or the option to rebook the Package on alternative dates.

4. Dog Policy

4.1. Dog Fee: While the Package is advertised as dog-friendly, standard dog fees are not included in the £495 Package price.

4.2. Payment of Fees: The non-refundable dog fee will be added to the accommodation booking.

4.3. Dog Rules: Guests must adhere to the specific dog rules and security deposit requirements (if applicable) set out by the individual Host during their stay. Failure to comply may result in the immediate termination of the stay without refund.

5. Liability and Separation of Hosts

5.1. Separation of Liability: Guests acknowledge that the Mountain Host and the Coastal Host are two separate, independent businesses.

5.2. Liability at Location: Each Host is solely responsible for the safety, services, and accommodation provided during the two nights spent at their respective location. Neither Host accepts liability for issues, damages, or claims arising from the accommodation or services provided by the other Host.

5.3. Damages: Guests are liable for any damages caused to the property of either the Mountain Host or the Coastal Host during their stay, in line with the individual Host’s standard terms.

6. Agreement

By booking and paying for the “Mountains to Sea” Package, the Guest agrees to be bound by these specific Package Terms and Conditions, as well as the standard individual Terms and Conditions of both Cairngorm Bothies and Dalriada Lodges concerning property usage, conduct, and safety.
