Participation & Safety
Your safety and wellbeing is important to us at Cairngorm Excursions. Whilst agreeing to our guided walk you will be agreeing to the following terms and conditions so that we can practise good care of our walking group whilst enjoying the great outdoors in Royal Deeside.
Who can come and join us and what to expect?
We have no age limits but expect those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent who is responsible for them and their safety.
Our guests must assess their own physical abilities for our walks and as such are responsible for their own physical safety, health and well-being. The physical geography of the Loch Muick, Morven and Loch Kinord involves walking up and down hills and uneven pathways. These are not generally suitable for guests with a below-average level of fitness or guests with mobility aids or pushchairs. ( Little ones love the fresh air in their parent’s chosen “baby pouches”)
Please note our group will walk at the speed of the slowest individual, as such a judgement may be made on the suitability of a person’s ability for the benefit of the group as a whole.
We love to see a happy four-legged friend join our adventures but we do ask that these are well behaved and taken on a lead to protect the local wildlife and other path users. Please bring poo bags and use the bins in the cark parks.
Please note Cairngorm Excursions accepts no liability for any accident, injury, or loss or damage to personal belongings whilst on a walking tour, and by joining a walking tour you acknowledge and accept this condition of non-liability.
Other Helpful Information:
Free toilets are available near the car parks:
Best to keep personal belongings to a minimum in your locked vehicle.
Your insurance.“Please ensure you wear hiking type footwear (walking boots or trail shoes), take an extra warm layer, waterproof outdoor clothing (jacket with hood and over trousers), food and a drink”.
